The Council of Canadian Innovators (CCI) was founded in 2015 to give Canada’s top tech CEOs a voice in public policy. It advocates for homegrown scale-ups, which drive national economic growth. For years, innovation policy was dominated by foreign multinationals, limiting Canada’s potential. Today, CCI represents 150+ CEOs and is chaired by Jim Balsillie and John Ruffolo.
